Christmas is just a few days and you can’t wait to put up the décor already? We completely get it 😀 It’s not your fault as we’re feeling festive too, already!
While you’re all basking in the glory of the Christmas spirit, as you’re putting up the tree, sprucing up your home, do not forget to take care of your floors as they’re the most that get ignored during any occasion…sigh!
Make sure you keep your floor in good condition by following our tips.

1. Don’t Drag the Decorations or Tree on the Floor
Dragging the tree or the decorations through the house is going to spread the mud, the needles, the leaves everywhere. Plus, the scratches…you don’t want to leave a scratched floor while you drag everything over the floor.
2. Don’t Overwater your Tree!
If you’re using a real tree, be mindful of not overwatering the tree that may lead to the spillage, leaving your carpet soaking and spoiling your floors!
3. Cover It Up!
Lay an old gift wrapping paper around the base of your tree. Not only does it look pretty, but it also helps protect your floor from falling needles if using a real tree.
4. Good Things Come in Small Packages
A humongous pot full of compost and a massive tree sitting in it is a heavy thing to have been sitting on your carpet for a month. Opt for smaller, cuter options.
